Last year Queenslanders recycled 133 000 tonnes of newspapers, cardboard, magazines, paper, steel and aluminium cans and glass and plastic containers. That is a huge saving for our environment and our economy!

Disposing of this waste in a way that doesn't hurt the environment is nearly impossible. What we try to do is to minimise the amount of rubbish that we send to our local dump.
